Dominic Cummings clash fan or not ??

do we all not remember all the posts on here from lads who wanted to go shoot a fox or magpie , being told no stay at home what happens if you have an accident or some such mishap , well all that and more applied to mrC except to make it even worse he knew he was probably going to be getting sick and his mrs was already . .

No i haven't forgotten and the amount of "Karens" on the forum telling everyone to stay home because they will save lives. Which given the UK has such a high death rate means you missed the boat.

Ex Stasi officers will be looking at the UK thinking why didn't we think of that we xan get the whole population reporting each other and they do it for free.

People upset about the hypocrisy of senior people in society like Ferguson or Cummings? That type of behavior has been going on since time immortal.

If all the clusters occurred at Burger King I'm sure everyone would want it closed down. However many of the clusters have occurred at nursing homes so who's up for taking Gran back to your house and listening to the wife complain about the mother in law until a vaccine is found?

My guess is this would be the biggest reduction of Covid 19 deaths but my guess is like a refugee crisis we can take plenty as long as its not my house.

Like my quote said attack on my opinion! Never mentioned me?

Sorry I misunderstood you the second time. That is good news.

Your post was ambivalent when you referred to a personal attack on your opinion...I initially thought you meant it as per my response...that you did not see it as an attack on you...

But then when you posted the cryptic quote with no explanation, just a Hmm icon, I thought may be you did think my post as an attack on you personally and that the quote was the example of this. Glad I guessed wrong.

Both my mother and sister were nurses, mother trained in London during the Blitz. Both worked in hospital and then later in care homes...I am glad they are not on the front line now, and hats off to your wife who is still at the sharp end...and I do agree the £150 is rubbish as are the parking charges I gather they have to cover.

Lets hope the value and esteem with which the nurses and carers are currently held lasts longer then the Pandemic and translates into an ongoing improvement of their conditions.

And as those two crossbow murderers found out go their cost all top range Landrover cars have Sat Nav. You can burn it and still it tells a tale. Enough of this eminence grise, this vile Iago. Let the truth be out.

Time immemorial (French: temps immémorial) is a phrase meaning time extending beyond the reach of memory, record, or tradition, indefinitely ancient, "ancient beyond memory or record"

guess he didn’t care for ‘clampdown’
Surely we can all agree? It’s ‘Wrong ‘Em Boyo’

Why do you try to cheat, and trample people under your feet?
Don't you know it is wrong to cheat a trying man?
Don't you know it is wrong to cheat the trying man?
So you better stop, it is the wrong 'em boyo’

Is this the best we need to deal with,The country is on the edge of a massive recession, illegals are pouring in via France and Patel,Transport, Grooming gangs flourishing,Without reckon-pence, where are the press then, innocent young lady shot dead by gang warfare, press acting like animals for a picture no social distancing, we need to wake up and smell the coffee,

Where do you draw the line on this? Regardless of whether or not you agree with the lockdown he has broken the rules both literally and morally. Regarding his morals. Morality on two levels. One telling everyone else what to do and not following the rules himself and the other in taking his children to be looked after by their grandparents who must by virtue of their age be more prone to effects of Covid-19 than him, his wife or the children.

And where do you draw the line legally. If you shot someone and Dominic Cummings shot someone. Should you go to prison and he get off. Maybe you could say that's not a realistic scenario. So lets say. If you stole £10 from a charity box and Dominic cummings stole £10 from a charity box. Is it Ok that you get prosecuted and he doesn't?

It seems that "all animals are equal, but some are more equal than others."

Now I don't have strong views on this because the lockdown rules to me were guidelines for anyone with a modicum of common sense and directives for the majority of morons in this the country who apparently simply lack any. The idea you could not drive to take a walk in a remote location with your family, miles from anybody else, was always nonsensical. The jobsworths and snitches this country has bred are a sad indictment on society at large.
In Cummings case, there was an exceptional circumstance, a child was potentially at risk and the family support was a drive away. Arguably, also potential risk to life. In those circumstances, if you read the lockdown rules, it appears he was entitled to drive to obtain childcare from immediate family.
I don't like the man incidentally but he is not an idiot and has the press camped outside almost permanently, so I expect he checked the rules prior to moving his autistic four year old.

Whatever we think, whatever we say, whatever we do, matters not one jot.
We as individuals can make not the slightest difference to events that involve the Government or the Police. And before anybody talks about having the vote and being able to change things  just take a look at your own MP's majority.
The law, politics etc are all made by liars, cheats and chief constables to suit whatever they fancy.
Almost a complete waste of breath even talking about a grade A, first class, prize winning pair of Pratt's.like Boris and Cummings. You will change sod all and only get his brother f..k all. :old:

Forget the hype about the man and read the rules the principle is that you should not leave the place where you live, unless you have a reasonable excuse.

Getting access to schools or childcare, social services, DWP & victim support (& similar agencies) is seen as a reasonable excuse and there is no mention of distance.

It is impossible for the law to imagine all and every reason why you might need to leave your home as long as you are acting reasonably.

I haven’t seen one newspaper who are printing the rules because it tends to undermine the narrative that are creating.

A famous QC once said “There is one thing that will get my client convicted and that is evidence, plenty of it, and I’m not seeing a lot of it here".

What we know:

A man and his wife, caring for an autistic four year old who can’t be looked after by anyone but family, become ill and fear becoming incapacitated where they have nobody to look after their child so travel to a separate empty house next to their family. The man’s sister does their shopping and leaves it outside until they recover.

There’s an “exceptional circumstances” get out in the lockdown rules arguably designed to cover these situations. Shortly afterwards, further exclusion clauses are added to cover the specific needs of autistic children.

A combination of bitter remainers, lockdown jobsworths and the usual “it’s all fatcher’s fault” anti-Tory tw@ts crawl out of the woodwork baying for blood. Pathetic.

So you and your wife might be coming down with CV and may have to be admitted to hospital like your best mate Boris was. Your son is 4 years old he is autistic. Do you do nothing and run the risk he may have to be taken into care or do you stuff everything into the car and without stopping take him to be near to relatives who can look after him if the worst happens. You make your choice.....I know what I would do.
