ASE Radien

Im thinking of swapping out a SL7 moderator for an over barrel option. Saw that ASE have brought one out. Has anyone had their hands on one yet or know of anyone stocking them?

Very much a pity. I love my jet z, I was just thinking of sticking with the same company and trying a different mod altogether, to shave a bit of weight off

I have used the Jet-Z 'Compact' for a decade now (.243W) and it still doing the job just fine, and never needs cleaning. It keeps coming up as a reliable Brand in every discussion. It is heavy, made out of steel, which makes it long-lasting. I am sure any Ase Utra product will be excellent, but take those claims of 'better' sound attenuation with a pinch of salt: All moderators take some 27-30 Db off, just as they did 10-12 years ago, more just doesn't seem possible -yet.

Likewise, I have several ASE SL5 mods which are practically maintenance free, and whilst not the most efficient, they still rank pretty well and don't add too much length to the barrel. Got to admit I prefer the design and lighter weight of the predator mods which also use S/S internals.

Does anyone know if the "radien" is compatible with the 6.5 PRC ?

Morning guys, the Radien has also caught my eye. I am also a longstanding fan of the Jet-Z. None of my searches are showing any UK distributors or retailers yet for the Radien but guess that it will only be a matter of time???

Try Jackson rifles who stocked the jetZ. I phoned jackson rifles before Christmas and they still had a lot of jetz' in stock and were still receiving them from Scandinavia. I have two jetz' (one for 15 years) and am also a big fan. Being lighter and made of Aluminium, I can't see the radian lasting as long.
