We are getting a bit miserable lately so along with the 'bored word association' thread, I thought it would be interesting what you lot would do with a big win.
Charities /families are a given, so what would you buy for yourself ?
My first choice would be small but beautifully formed sporting estate, and a few release pens, in an area where roe (my favourite) and munjac (the tastiest) are abundant.

Same as you mate , with sea fishing access, in different places around the globe

But I'd build a wall around them all , patrolled by trained attack dogs

To keep the humans out lol

But a wood cabin in British Columbia or Alaska would be top of the list , followed by somewhere is Oz , and the same in Montana etc etc

I'd buy a spot on the Isle of mull as a retreat a small farm around here for the girls to be able to keep there horses at home build a big shed and just spend the day in there tinkering shooting as and when I pleased possibly with a regular foreign expedition every so often

Wouldn't make a hapenyworth of difference I am too old. To just carry on at my present rate is all I ask. I'd probably give most away to kid's hospices anyway.

Ducks,deer and dingo`s,shoot deer from your porch up on the bushline in the morn or evenings..with your 300 Win mag of course lol.
A permanent bench for the wandering dogs ready to go.
Stalk up the bush creeks in your finest camo ha ha.
The unfinished house needs a tidy up but for KJF above a handy little property for the hunting minded.
Sambar stags galore,the joint is 1/2 hour down the road from me and a starter place for those that want an OS hunt property.
That bush goes forever surrounding the place so the 1300 acres is more like 13000

For us all we would like would be a nice Bungalow with a descent fenced off garden, an orchard and a bit of land - somewhere where we could grow our own vegetables with a descent greenhouse and poly tunnel and somewhere to keep some small livestock like poultry, a couple of goats and maybe a couple of pigs for the larder! As a personal treat for myself I might get a good fishing/power boat and a good 4X4 or a Camper Van to trailer it with! And of course a nice "Man Cave"!

I won £5 on the Lotto this weekend and am undecided on how to use this windfall. If I won the jackpot, then maybe I could almost afford a decent sized dwelling in London. Maybe. At least a deposit I should think.

Sorry to pour cold water on all your expectations but I hate the bloody lottery. I like to gamble, I love gambling, Horses, football , cards I find the excitement of having a tenner on a horse jumping the last fence with a real chance of winning very exciting and it gets me out of the chair and jumping , but watching balls fall out of a machine just doesn,t do it for me. Also It is just another tax and I pay enough of that I wouldnt mind if it went to the really needy folks in this world.
