We had a few people. 200 infact get a vaccine during the trials. The trials are now abandoned because they all started testing positive to HIV. Seemed like a good idea at the time. Oh well, better choose carefully which one.I fully respect your right to be sceptical as am I on many things and if you choose not to take the vaccine that’s fine by me it means I may get mine earlier
Lol, and yet we discuss putting up a vid of the types of hunting conditions on your permission? Well then the crickets start. What are we doing discussing topics like Covid vaccines on a deer stalking forum? Get a life guys! And as for you anti vaxxers! Put your tin foil masks on and stock up on ammo for the zombie apocalypse.
Not sure where you get your news from but never let too many facts get in the way of a good story. As ever, a failure to research means you do not know the statement about halting the Australian vaccine rollout to be true. Like ours, that vaccine used a novel, not-used-before delivery mechanism....

Australian vaccine trials stopped due to HIV false positives – DW – 12/11/2020
The University of Queensland-CSL vaccine trial was terminated amid concerns that it could interfere with HIV diagnosis. The company will now produce more units of rival vaccine AstraZeneca instead.www.dw.com
it was a first stage trial, and they abandoned it at that point...
t was not a roll out of a vaccine it was part of a trial, trials come in three basic stages, initial, Mid trials and final trials. The majority of trials fail due to the rigour required, only after the completion off all elements is the data and conclusions passed across to the Regulator, the Regulator then investigates all the base data and conclusions, often they may require further field trials or more data. Only when the regulator is happy to sign it all off for specific use which they will document would it be made available for use in the population. As per my earlier post never let too many facts get in the way of a good story, it worked for The Sun for many yearsAs ever, a failure to research means you do not know the statement about halting the Australian vaccine rollout to be true. with on important caveat..... none of the conditions you have mentioned are transmissible!Do you know how many people died worldwide during the same period of cancer? Or meningitis? Or diabetes? Or anything else that kills masses of folk every year? No, because the media doesn’t report on that, they have focussed all their efforts on reporting one stream of media.
our local news the other day reported 3 (shock horror) deaths within a 3 county radius, all from covid, no mention of how many people died of other causes during the same period?? Why?

Valid correction.
The thrust of mchughcb's point stands: I.e. the vaccine mechanisms being trialled for covid are novel. The mRNA offering from Pfizer is no exception. It will take time to assay efficacy and risk in the wider population.
I would have a preference over which specific vaccine I would have
Information from trial publications, some familiarity with the technologies from my own work, discussions with people who know better than me. It’s a bit subjective really as I am not an expert. Each approach has some relative pros and cons, none of which I consider critical compared to just getting a vaccine (at least for those we are likely to have access to in the U.K.).FatTurkey could you please explain how you arrived at that preference?
