No not that I'm aware of matey his daughter named it as an 8 week pup. Breeze was a cracking deer dog, Wispa was too full on so he uses her on birds an got that black bitch as she's a plodder like breeze was, if ya want to yank his chain when you see him ask him why his "black lab" has a docked tail 🤣🤣
Just been doing my sums... Be about 7 or 8 years since breeze got knocked down as tillys 11 👍🏻
 
I didnt know Breeze got knocked down, i thought she died of old age, last time I was over there was April 2011 according to the photos, I shot two bucks on the 13th April 2011 and the final buck on 18th April 2011, not been since.

Generally went there once a week for 31 visits

I think I remember the post on here about it. If I remember correctly, the sneck on the dog crate wasn't fastened securely, and she got loose and jumped out of the back of a moving pickup and was hit by another vehicle.

She nudged the box open on the back the truck, jumped out, an that was her done for matey

Thinking about it your right they did, water under the bridge now. He was a good old boy with a great sense of humour.

I was stalking with Malcolm on one occasion down one of the many dykes in that area, water either side of us, a silver medal buck was hidden from view behind a bush about 300 yards away, as we moved forward we continually had to stop as the buck stuck its head out, at one point we had laid on the ground for about 20 minutes, when I started itching all over, I had stopped on an ants nest and they had climbed all over me., we both started laughing (quietly) and then a ton of geese flew over us about 15ft off the floor, (Im mad for geese, shake like you cant believe, much to the amusement of Malcolm) anyway, we moved closer and closer and then I had to go down the dyke on one side to try and get a shot. On one side there was a small road, ahead was another road and to the right was a caravan park if memory serves. I got into shootable position and Malcolm had forgotten to put his mobile on silent, the tune was "Only Fools and Horses" which started playing just as I raised the rifle to my sticks. Needless to say the Buck jumped away and ran off. Still it was a great day out in good company.

Yes I suppose if I buy the current one it could well be in date still if I decide to do it, just had a quick look and 2019 one i saw was £30 but I’m interested in it all so it should make interesting reading anyway, although he never mentioned dsc, just said get some experience.

I was always lead to believe that North Yorkshire was more relaxed in some ways than other counties like allowing open tickets first time etc, and yes I do have mates that have had 22lr about a year then just put variation in for 243 and bingo it lands on the door mat, no previous experience with fox/deer or a 243. He maybe just doesn't like the look of me? If he had just granted the variation I have confidence in my own ability to successfully shoot, gralloch (fair enough the first one might not be the best as not done a deer before, but I've had enough blood on my hands before to get stuck in) and do a good enough job of butchering it for it not to be a waste. Like I say I need to ring them anyway about my ticket, there's no max amount allowed for the 204 ammo like there is for the others and permission been removed to buy 17 mod although we talked about that and it was staying on as I do want one specific for my hmr, not sure how to broach the subject of the 6.5 but we'll see?

Just googled his code and yes I could soon be at Driffield so thank you he definatly sounds like an option, I also had premiere deer stalking suggested aswell
