Lightweight stock

I have a howa .233 in a grs berserk stock at the moment. I really like the rifle and stock, but with a drone pro on it is a bit heavy. I do most of my lamping on foot, and can do a few miles in a night.

So Im looking into a lightweight stock, as I think this will be the biggest saving in weight. So what are peoples experiences with carbon fibre or graphite rifle stocks???

I have a PSE composite hunter stock for my howa 243 and I think it is fantastic , unsure of the exact weight but its considerably lighter /stronger than anything else I have handled .

Completely transformed how the rifle handles and seemed to tighten my groups up also.

Just had a look at that stock, it is very light, I could do with some adjustments on the stock, to get the head position a big higher for the night vision

Howa have just come out with a carbon stocked rifle, I'd wait a while and see if any get to the UK and have a look at them.

They are absolutely fantastic stocks, so well worth any wait or hassle.

And all of the family are super to deal with: you always get a very clear, honest answer and a lot of useful advice.

Looking at our UK shipments, some arrived on time and some seem delayed in transit. I recon that is with everything going in and out from the UK at the moment. Hopefully sorted soon.

I have just bought a McMillan hunter which is a similar weight to the factory stock I had on my Sako 85 medium action

Yea I've got 1 on my Tikka CTR just now and love it, it's why I contacted Edi for an Etac for a new to me rifle

We have no feedback on import costs to the UK yet. A few orders were stuck in the middle of brexit and we don't know how they will be dealt with. All orders since Jan to the UK now do not need to pay our 21% (23%) VAT. This saving can be put against any duties or UK VAT upon entry. This is common practice for us when we export outside of the EU like Norway Switzerland etc.
