I am however looking for a an SME or similar arm for my Michell Gyrodec as I never got around to replacing the one my Daughter bent out of shape at the age of 3!
Would this be of any interest? You would

So, I've not really joined in this thread what with having no record player, and my main requirement for the last few years having been to not make any noise, we're trying to put the children to sleep.

But this morning, BFJ (current PM) was on the radio, to I switched him off. And instead put on The Clones of Dr Funkenstein. Well. That was a revelation for how to start the day better. From now on, Pine Marten funk is P-Funk.

I grew up with my dad listening to the corries. Hasn't listened to any of there songs for years. He had them on at Christmas and I remembered each song word for word. Must admit I love them.

I was surprised to hear the Antipodean whaling song 'Soon may the Wellerman come' sung by a Scots postman on Radio 4 the other day.
A hunt on the Tube revealed a version by the excellent Gordon Bok and his chums:
 
I'll be playing this 50yo album whilst home loading this afternoon, released 10th February 1971. My daughters grew up on this and the rest of the genre, they'll all be playing it today.
