What rifle sling with roe sack?

What rifle sling are you guys using with a roe sack and bino harness? I struggle to keep mine on my shoulder with a standard style Nigelloh and quake claw - the bag stops me getting it far enough on my shoulder to stay put. Do z-aim or roetex work with them?

Z Aim or similar is perfect with roe sack and/or bino harness.

Just put a bungee cord around the empty roe sack to turn it into a slim pack.

Try a less wide one, with some grip about it. Wider slings spread the load more, but at the expense of grip, if your rifle and scope combination are on the heavy side then they will slip less, but it won’t be as comfortable of course. If they aren’t too heavy, you should be able to stand using a thinner sling. About 1” is perfectly adequate, if it has grip about it. The finish of the straps on the roe sack upon which it is likely resting atop will however also have a bearing on this.

I went the opposite and went wide with the quake claw, which is ok but still slips. Might try narrower then

I use a 3hgr sling with a rucksack or roe sack regularly and find it better than my previous z-aim. I tend not to use it in the configuration shown in their advertising, but rather as a normal sling with the extra bit round the back of my head and back underneath my left arm. When not required I loosely tie the two strands together as the plastic clip on the loose end has an annoying habit of flailing around in the wind and clattering off my shooting sticks or gates just at the wrong moment!

Ogden’s roe/ Sika sacks have clips on the front of its shoulder straps to keep the sling in place.

It’s the Ogden’s sika sack that I have and the clip doesnt do the whole job for me. It stops the rifle slipping backwards but not off the side of my shoulder.

I use a Red Kettle M18. It’s quite a basic, thin design, but well made and very and quite grippy. My set up is a T3 and 8x56 so on the light side.
