The problem with an irrational argument is that a rational argument makes little headway against it.
It sounds like Freeforester and others who share his beliefs care deeply about finding an effective cure for CV19 and believe that Ivermetin, in spite of a wealth of evidence to the contrary, is of real value on this front.
I suspect that nothing said by anyone who, like me, takes a different view will change their view on this - a view which is held in spite of the evidence, not because of it.
Freeforester's latest post (regarding the falling death/infection rate in Uttar Pradesh) is worth reading because, in fact, it links the decline in cases to the success of the State's vaccination programme.
The article reports that as vaccination rates increase (70,000,000 people in UP have now been vaccinated) so the number of cases has fallen. However, it is worth pointing out that the article also notes that 35,000 new cases had reported within the previous 24 hours nationwide. The article is a month old.
The stakes are high here. Produce your evidence that the moon landings were faked and everyone smiles politely and tries to find someone else to talk to. Produce your evidence that a horse wormer cures CV19 and there's a real risk that desperate people in a desperate situation might actually listen to you and put scant resources into something that won't do them any good and may do them significant harm.
Bleach destroys the virus which causes CV19. But that doesn't mean everyone should drink it.
