No great loss to mankind!

I wouldnt trust eye witness accounts from today, people make mistakes.
I dont beleive the romans had better means of confirming death than modern docs.
Still dont beleive any of it is factual
I'd suggest that you look into the historical evidence surrounding the authenticity of the gospel accounts. There are a few who've tried to disprove it and ended up writing books describing how it convinced them to believe.

Refusing to believe/rejecting it is one thing, but the 'I don't trust the evidence' argument is a very uninformed position. You're entitled to refuse to believe but you should be honest that it's about you not the evidence.

Perhaps we all ought to listen to John Lennons Imagine and reflect on the words
Imagine should have been played at the Mother-in-Law's funeral as the coffin was taken back out of the church... some wag played the B-side instead, "Give Peace a Chance"..
very fitting as the four daughters are in a perpetual state of war..

The funeral was a good one, the hearse was horse-drawn with four black horses in the finest livery...

Talking of "Perpetual" it's reminded me to take a look at chelseablues ad for the TIKA A1 tac to see if it's been bumped yet today :gheyfight:

Reminded me of a similar situation. Dragon of a mother in law, Amazing Grace was the intent but they played the wrong track.
To everyone’s fear and concern……..

The physical evidence of the accuracy of the Biblical writings has been discussed in other threads. The veracity of the records is compelling, so it remains a personal journey to test the eye-witness accounts.

Personally, I am utterly persuaded that Jesus is the Christ promised to the world in the Old Testament. And that He was killed on a cross to redeem me from my sins.

The Bible makes clear that conviction of sin is the work of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus declared that His death on the cross serves to draw all peoples to Him.

Thereafter, faith comes from hearing/reading God's words.

And the promise of salvation is to all who respond to God's words.
