More seriously, as data has made clear, covid vaccines cannot prevent a vaccinated person from carrying the virus and thus potentially infecting a vulnerable relative/patient.

If I could have got IVM, without having to use a vet supplier, I would have. From everything I've read, it works to reduce initial impact and is even listed by the NIH as an effective treatment (funny how they never mention that). However, the info out of Israel (the most thoroughly vaccinated nation on Earth and, coincidentally, also the place where covid is running rampant) is that simple aspirin can help alleviate suffering. It's safe (just like IVM) in low doses and, apparently, you don't need a high dose for it to work it's magic.Nice turn of phrase. LOL. And I broadly agree your assessment of this virus' impact, on most people.

Whereas, any treatment that arrests viral replication in the host, will obviously be a superior means by which we protect the widest populace.
Per the OP, data suggests therapies that include Ivermectin have the potential to do just that.

You simply cannot get IVM in the UK so for most people the arguments for and against, however valid or otherwise, are moot.
study you are referring to is a different study conducted over 18 months ago
Does this count?
That isn't what the link says, as far as I can tell.and is even listed by the NIH as an effective treatment...
who might be behind the ‘famous’ five’s little wheeze - Cui buono?![]()

Ivermectin Doesn’t Help Covid, But Generic Drug Makers Are Cashing In
...although I fear that this will be dismissed by those driving this thread on the basis that it is reported by another mainstream outlet.
What that official status should help to do is persuade the neigh-sayers to reconsider their rhetoric.
Zambezi is advocating taking a drug
So you zambezi want thousands of people to be used in an experiment, to test a drug, that the biggest producer ever of said, and all the leading organisations entrusted with protecting us from harmful drugs already say, is not suitable for that purpose.Wrong again.
I am advocating rigorous mass trials of Ivermectin in sufficient cohort to validate the meta data of a myriad RCTs.
My personal conviction is that the data so far persuades me re the choices I will make in future. Clear enough?
