As with all Pulsar products you just press the + button to increase in magnification steps so 3.5x to 7.5x to 15x on the C50 . You can also manually adjust the base magnification or PIP magnification in 0.1 increments from a single press on the + button followed by adjusting the encoder turret dial on the side..Can you change how fast it zooms the PiP - seems like a lot of rotations of tge dial to get there ? Thinking about the wear n tear on that rotation dial.

Whilst I agree with your response, I'm keen to know what one is worth second hand hence my question. It has paid for itself many times over and has been a fantastic piece of kit, I just fancy an upgrade. Not much.
RRP for a new C50 without IR is £1100
RRP for a new Digex N450 with IR is £1300
Nobody in their right mind is going to buy a new Digex N450 when there is a cheaper scope available that works both day and night
Think of it this way - how much were black and white TVs worth when a new colour TV could be bought for less than the the price of the black and white model when it was new.
Cheers

January at some point... I don't take physical deposits, just note the details on the system. So anyone wanting one, please forward name, address, number/email, they will be supplied in order of date, I will contact when available, if no longer required that's no issue, I just remove and supply the next person..May have missed it but when is your next delivery?

I am happy to buy a wolf and do comparison. It’ll be very interesting if the C50 is perceived to be better in the real world field compared with the Wulf (real world, not specs).
Without a VCSEL IR 99% of 4K units are not great at night, there not true night vision in a sense, yes they do look great when you throw a lot of IR at them .. Without VCSEL or Laser 4K there dead in the water at night, in terms of viewing distance and image lag, but everyone is hooked on VCSEL now so they get by..It’ll be very interesting if the C50 is perceived to be better in the real world field compared with the Wulf (real world, not specs).
That’s fair comment.Without a VCSEL IR 99% of 4K units are not great at night, there not true night vision in a sense, yes they do look great when you throw a lot of IR at them .. Without VCSEL or Laser 4K is dead in the water at night, in terms of viewing distance and image lag.
Speaking on the C50, I'd like to see a unit better built than one, also that has the software, speed and functions as good as one... most are just not polished like these, they fall short.
