I posted the measurements and pics above
Totally agree, they're great units. The 007 with a quality laser ir is ridiculously good for a unit costing a few hundred quid.
And the results in reverse order are, ?????I've just tested a Wraith 4K, Wulf 4K and C50 at range in day light, interesting..
It’s the night time performance that matters most?Wulf 4k 3rd
wraith 2nd
C50
at a guess

and what’s your opinion ?
Thank you for that comparison. It's adding to the reviews and videos already posted. Sounds perfect for any quary at 200m and less, with the added bonus of a solid mounting platform and larger field of view.So my verdict
I do not like any of the Sightmark eye displays, there absolutely tiny, which results in the reticules being clunky or crunched up. The Wraith 4k ergonomically is a nightmare as the IR torch location on the side restricts access to the focus lens if fitted, the software is fine, the actual build quality is good on all sightmark models, if they had a larger eye display and finer reticules they would be very good with a VCSEL illuminator alongside.
The Wulf overall build is ok, not as good as the Wraith 4K and certainly not as good as the Pulsar C50, with the Wulf you do get a lot for your money, all mounts, illuminator, etc for the price tag..., software is better than I expected, although it features the same letterbox style display as the Sightmark models, the display is slightly larger when viewing and a bit better than the wraith.
Comparing the Wraith 4k and Wulf 4k at 200 yds, utilising digital magnification the Wraith gives a sharper image and has more vibrant colour reproduction overall than the Wulf 4K, so the Wraith 4K has the sharpest daytime image at longer range than any of them...
The Pulsar C50 is a 1080P unit so digital magnification at range will not be as sharp as a 4K in daylight when magnified, but the large eye display is heaps better, a very nice sharp display the best I've used, also colour reproduction is very good, the best of all three models, low light ability exceeds the 4K unit and as mentioned across the internet, it is as good as your going to get for a colour HD unit, if your into stalking and want a traditional rifle scope style with this low light ability (amazing) then you want to shoot foxes later into the evening then these are the one... Reticules best in class, PIP with scaled options best in class, mounting options endless... I also checked field of view and the Wulf/Wraith 4K have identical field of views, the C50 has a wider field of view so is better for up close work also...Sum light is built in too for totally covert up close work with zero IR required, Couple of downsides for me is there quite a heavy unit, but the build quality is superb so I can live with that, also the speaker seems a heap more sensitive and not as natural as my Thermion 2 XP speaker... Other than that , in terms of build, software, sensitivity sweet spot 1080P being a balance of day and night performance without severely hindering either, Pulsars software algorithms, I would say these are the ones to have..
At 200 yds if you bomb an animal with VCSEL IR then a 4K will be sharper, the C50 will be less sharp, although the C50 will require less IR and is still capable of 300yd shots on foxes... but you have to live with them requiring lots of IR and the smaller letterbox eye displays on the 4K stuff..
Bringing the Pards into the mix, the NV008P has a better eye display than the Wraith or Wulf also and its strong point is its tiny all in one design, but it's at the opposite end of the spectrum in terms of build against a C50 and has a tighter field of view, not as slick software or as good low light ability...
All of these units have there place and there all popular , these days people want to incinerate things with laser IR, without that 4K units would be dead in the water with shorter viewable ranges and severe lag, but because of the advancement of VCSEL they are much improved at night...
I can hand on heart say your not making a bad purchase with a C50 if anyone is looking to buy one...they really are a quality bit of kit allround for just over £1K....If it was higher mag you would lose field of view, if it was 4k you would lose true night vision covert ability and low light performance.... everyone likes or dislikes certain factors, it's hard to cater for everyone's individual needs..but these sit right in a good sweet spot..
Given the choice from everything digital available, I would choose a Digex C50 and a Pard NV007 in terms of performance, versatility, price points, features..
I think if you tried any of them , most people would walk away with a C50 given the choice .Thank you for that comparison. It's adding to the reviews and videos already posted. Sounds perfect for any quary at 200m and less, with the added bonus of a solid mounting platform and larger field of view.
