Sadly they won’t be too dismayed. It is their business model to make such cases and appeals, keep their cause in the media and then fund raise off the back of it From their supporters as they pursue the cause.

They will portray themselves as being beaten down by officialdom and beg for more money from the suckers who are too daft to figure out their game

Packham, with his “condition” won’t see that he’s wrong, but thinks the court is, so he will keep banging away however pointless for as long as possible. But I think, for this particular road, it’s now a cul-de-sac.

Maybe. It isn't ending for a couple of years at least and anyway, he isn't directly employed by the BBC. But if the telly licensing bubble does burst, then there's every possibility that the lefty woke BBC culture will have to amend themselves or slink off into oblivion to ensure a re-jigged Beeb can actually make money by pandering to (whisper it) the majority.
