Pulsar c50

I'm really disappointed with my c50. After Work i had a quick look through my new scope and was not really happy when i realized i couldn't even See the sheepfence at 100m and the fencepost barely at 200m. I will Test it better next week. Absolutely not on the level with my digisight ultra n455. Even in black and white i could See the fence wire by day with the scope Cap closed.
Something is not right then either your settings or your doing something you shouldn’t be , or maybe a problem with unit . I had N450 ( 850 ir version) and my C50 is brilliant in comparison.

Well to give you a idea , to my eyes it’s a bit like the bastard love child between the Solaris SRx/ the dark engine ID

its got the power of the Solaris and the really wide flood setting of the dark engine ID Even on the tightest spot setting it’s x3 times the size of the Solaris , but opens up to nearly a full screen even at some very long distances

very well made , with all the best bits of the above rolled into one I would say . But we’re see

I would be interested in how that turns out, I have the Sirius XTL but I'm still waiting on a C50 to put underneath it!
I was playing with mine last night. I used the Dark Engine ID and the Sirius torches. One on top of two's post is pretty well spot on.
i found that you have to play with the Brightness and Contrast settings to set a compromise between getting the widest flood and the sharpest image.
At a setting of 8 for both Brightness and Contrast gave me the best results. If i knew my quarry was less than 100m I would pick the ID. At 200m the Sirius wins hands down.

I can't find comparisons between the C50 and the ATN 4K 3-14 (I think the direct rival), do you have any opinion on this that justifies the extra price of the c50?

Just get a 50mm LED AS torch, they spread to a wide even beam, more than enough power for the C50 and cheap to buy..

The 36 or 48 will do, with full power control rotary also.... spreads to a nice full flood beam.. The image shows the larger 68 model..

Just had a kit clean and downloaded these from a couple of months back. No deer were harmed in the making of these videos.
