That is a shame - haven’t heard of anyone having one in the flesh yet…Had an update on my rifle delivery is now predicted as July or August! Think I'm going ro have to find something else.
Thanks for the update. I’ve put one in order, I’m fully not expecting it this year! I don’t think they anticipated the take up at all.Had an update on my rifle delivery is now predicted as July or August! Think I'm going ro have to find something else.
What’s the recall ? Relation to what ?
I haven't either. Shame no other manufacturer does something like this. At this point they would be getting my money. That is a shame - haven’t heard of anyone having one in the flesh yet…
Got my one already. Wasn’t expecting that at all, picked it up yesterday!I haven't either. Shame no other manufacturer does something like this. At this point they would be getting my money.
Not shot it yet, hopefully zero tomorrow. I just picked up some federal to throw through it. Next up start load development with some yew tree bullets. How you liking it?

First impressions:
Still love the action, very slick, good weight balance with scope. A tad front heavy with the wildcat evo. Trigger is good, a tiny bit of creep. I think it’s going to be a cracking workhorse rifle.
One negative is the eye relief on my scope forces me forward meaning I need to lift my head when cycling the bolt, I could raise it and move it back but it looks correct on the rifle. However maybe this would be the same with any straight pull. I do have my scopes a fair way back, probably too much shotgun shooting!
Yeah completely agree, I’ve got some hawke tactical ring mounts (not my normal go to, I usually use Warne, but it was all they had). So I’ll get it mounted up with those and see how it goes.Looking correct on the rifle and being correct for your build are different.
I would always set the scope to be correct for you. That means when you put your cheek on the stock your eye is in the correct place so you don’t have to hunt around. Um, was that an egg sucking moment?
Anyhow, I was at the show, loved the design of the bolt because I’m a left hander. Not so keen on the stock but I could live with it and to be honest, at some point someone will make a nice aftermarket stock for it. All in all a thumbs up from me.
Well you know what they say, opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one. Personally I quite like it. Wait and see if it shoots straight now!I was talking to a dealer friend this morning he received one yesterday “it’s crap if I can get rid of it I won’t be ordering another” we’re his polite words.
