I’ve just bought a navara as I’ll be doing a fair bit of red stalking soon. The only thing is that the tail gate doesn’t fold flat against the back of the truck. I was thinking of installing a small winch at the cab end of the truck bed. My plan was to pay the carcass in a large plastic tub I currently use for roe etc and then with some of ramp winch the whole thing back into the truck. I’ve read that simply lifting the deer on the tail gate can put too much pressure on the hinges And probably my back! Last time I shot a big hind I had help getting it into my previous vehicle. Anyway, just wondered what other folks do?
