I have the same problem - how did you manage to turn the turret to move it anticlockwise and move the MPI down on a Lica Magnus BDC.

Slacken the 2 grub screws on top of the BDC turret, lift up the turret and move it past the zero stop with how many clicks adjustment you need, turn the turret ACW until it stops, screw back up the grub screws, job done.

Thanks for your prompt reply. Unfortunately your advice works to move the group up, but it doesn't work for moving the group down. I cannot turn the loosened turret to the right to get past the zero stop and move the group down. All the videos etc show what you have described but not the other way.

You need to pull the turret out completely in order to move it past the zero stop

I've done that but it still doesn't allow me to reset the turret a few clicks to the right - the zero stop prevents this when I reattach the turret and pushes the dial back to its original position. I really am perplexed as what you recommend makes sense, but I just cannot get it to work.

Have you runned out of elevation adjustment?

Re the picatinny rail suggestion - that raises the MPI - I want to lower it.
Re elevation adjustment - No, I doubt this is the case as I was initially shooting 2" low and managed to raise the MPI by 3" - unfortunately this was too much and the MPI is now 1" high. However I now cannot move the MPI down by 1".

You must be doing something wrong.
Have you adjusted the turret back to zero after you went up 3” ?

I have now managed to solve the issue and zeroed my Magnus scope perfectly. The steps I had to undertake were:

Unscrew the 2 turret screws and raise the turret up and above the zero stop. Rotate the turret in the direction I want the group to go (ie down - to right) and then keep rotating until the turret rides over the zero stop and can be pushed down fully into position. I gave it a few more clicks to the right for good measure. Tighten the turret screws up.

I now fired a fresh group - the group now was significantly higher (not lower) than it was initially, but I was now able to move the BDC left (up) and right (down) until I achieved a perfect zero.

I then unscrewed the turret screws and raised the turret up turning it so that the 100m mark was placed on the zero mark and pushed the turret back down tightening the turret screws.

That seemed to do the trick - the rifle shot bang on at 100m and the group moved as expected when shooting at 300m with 300m dialled into the BDC.
