Why do Birds of Prey deserve a god like status ? Is it sustainable ?

Who the hell ever tracks a fox ?

Me. If I cant find a fox that has been shot , I would go back in daylight with the terrier to find it, my old bitch was great at finding them.

Have to say and adding to my earlier ramble shooting a deer, any deer does nothing for me, can take It or leave it, but a fox still gives me a real buzz every time.

Me too , prefer shooting a fox over a deer .....deer are too easy

She tracked this one for 200yds after it was shot with my 10g muzzleloader.

but is that just not nature at work? Darwin’s theory? Why do humans think nature needs human intervention?

The trouble here in U.K. is, we’ve altered the natural landscape to such a degree that it’s entirely unnatural! So now the “nature” is only what we have left deliberately or what happens to have adapted to living here

Watched a buzzard do a bombing run on a pheasant this morning. It did it's run with the sun behind it.

Ever likely there is nothing else to observe!

Me,even get the dogs out at silly o’clock to find one (Don’t want the public finding them). if you don’t pick them up they can’t be counted in your total.

Thanks, was unsure, it seemed very small for a sparrow hawk (same size as the magpie) but then the wrong colours for a Kestrel - my Dad will be very disappointed in me
