F&D get a thumbs up from me anyway for their customer care.

Customer complains and is supplied with another brand new unit free of charge.

Same customer complains again about the free unit and expects a third one, life is tough and business is tough and sometimes you’ve got to make a tough call or eventually you won’t have a business.

I might save up a few bob and invest in one.
Customer doesn’t get a brand new unit, that would have been logical, however customer gets a faulty part of the mod replaced, then a different part of the mod also fails a few months later. By which point one can clearly see there is an underlying issue with the mod from the get go. Crack on. Enjoy them. I have no issue with people supporting them, I just fail to see why those supporters have such an issue with someone highlighting an issue they have had with their mod and the demonstration of customer service then provided, service which you have clearly not had to endure as you have been fortunate. There are those who haven’t been and who have spent good money on a crap product.

I understand you fail to comprehend why other people have an issue with your particular problem, but, it doesn't automatically follow that the fundamental underlying issue is with the mod.

What I personally don't understand is why you persist to choose to use this forum as the launderette to wash your dirty linen when it's clear to all and sundry it is getting you nowhere. Is there not some legal avenue that you could persue if you feel so strongly about this or were you hoping to gain some free legal advice and support from a sympathetic member?

I'd imagine most people on here have been disappointed with a purchase at some stage, it happens and it's good to get it off your chest but some may think in this case thou does protest too much. Don't be a Karen.
