How do you carry your thermal spotter?

A newbie question maybe, but how do people carry their thermal spotters so that it’s handy but can be tucked away somewhere (as already carrying quad sticks and so that the ocular lens doesn’t get wet during rainy weather). I wear a Kuiu bino harness so maybe there’s a possibility for adding a pouch to that…?
Thanks.

hangs from an eyelet on my left shoulder and goes into the front flap/pocket on my smock when it is wet

Rifle over right shoulder, spotter in left coat pocket as I'm left handed (but shoot etc right handed), and look through spotter with right eye as that is the one looking through the NV, don't want to dim the night vision in both eyes.
Like LtD says, sticks in r/h TI in top l/h jacket pocket. Using it then doesn’t ruin your night vision (if you are a r/h shooter obviously). Feels a bit odd to start with but good when you get used to it.

I have mine on a lanyard around my neck and then tuck it between the top of my Kuiu bino harness and jacket when not in use, it never falls out and its protected/secure

On one of these:

I then have a pull-off neoprene camo cover that Mrs Gunn put together for me:

However the lanyard is long enough that I can stuff the thermal in the wallet pocket on my coat if it is raining.

Use the lens cap in the rain?

I use a neoprene camera strap for mine with those little clip things that fit the pulsars nicely. The brand is Optech USA

Bought a 3d printed clip from a guy on fb. That allows me to clip it to a strap (in my case the bino harness strap), this stops it flapping/swinging about.

I second Optech. Also for my binos - much better than the overcomplicated strap that came with my swarovski bins!

I like to have mine as close to hand as possible, I’ve a Ridgeline bino harness which I like as either side there are Molle straps… on the right hand side of my chest I have my thermal - located in a ‘bottle holder’, the base of the holder has a circular piece of foam to prevent it ‘squashing’ and to make sure the thermal ( hik lynx pro ) doesn’t drop down too far….the other side is a walkie- talkie pouch for when I’m using one ( I think there’s a petzl head torch tucked in there at the moment…. Secured in a similar way- I don’t like too many heavy things around my neck.

I used the thermals camera mounting thread to secure it, you can buy threaded loops from ebay, this goes to a clip which is interchangeable with a neoprene camera harness ( for nighttime foxing) and on the bino harness has enough travel to go up to my eye, without being too restricted, if I ‘drop it’ if falls to above belt level - softly cushioned by my beer belly…

I find with my rifle over my right shoulder, holding sticks in my left I can spot with the thermal using my right hand and pick it up and pop I’d back so easily into the bottle holder- it doesn’t get wet/ banged/ dropped/ muddy…. If I see a deer I can just drop it - pick up the binos to see if it’s one I want, then move to sticks without it getting in the way…

Army surplus PLCE ammo pouch, with the internal divider removed. Attached to bino harness (I have FHF harness, so similar design to yours). Lanyard from spotter to loop on the pouch.
