G'day from Australia

G'day to all,

My brother, father and myself are keen on coming over to the UK this year for a roe deer hunt. Hoping to get a buck each and figured this forum might be the right place to find a guide/local/recommendation.

Time permitting we're hoping to do a bit of touring around the UK and maybe pop over to Ireland and visit our relatives.

Normally in Australia I hunt with flintlock rifles and shotguns, I've read no BP hunting big game in UK so happy to go with those fancy breechloaders (still don't think they'll catch on).

Got myself a nice custom 12G flintlock trade/parts gun recently that I'm going to use this upcoming duck season. Do most of my deer hunting with flintlock rifles too these days.

Anyway thanks for having me and would appreciate any suggestions, directions or advice on roe buck hunting opportunities in the UK.

Welcome bud.

Someone here will be able to help you for sure.
I have a couple of people down south that may be able to help if you want to drop me a PM?
Enjoy!
