Safest way to get a rifle up a high seat?

Not sure if anyone has mentioned a written risk assessment, structural engineer inspection and maybes eve get hse on the case. On a serious note, unload rifle, remove bolt, rifle securely across shoulders and just do it.

A week hook at the top
I take it that autocorrect has struck again and what you wanted to write was wee?

I recognise that style of seat, I have one myself (free standing). They are excellent quality.
On mine I've gone a bit overboard by painting over the galvanise with green paint and I've also fixed cammo netting to the front of the rail.

Not to mention the working at heights regulations.

The high tower is approximately over 50ft high, constructed with two 22ft poles double clipped together. With a bit added on top.20220221_152212.webp

Not quite on topic but a few weeks ago I got caught with belly gurgling rather intensely while up in an open kanzel with no windows. I took the only, it seemed to me option to put both feet on the seat with my seat end hanging out over the backrest as far as was possible and both hands hanging onto the uprights then the projectile in me was let loose, bloody dangerous really after the event, but needs must, only the 2nd time in 20 years for me.

Thanks for sharing...

I use a ZAim when it comes to climbing high seats just clip up the third point chest strap, both hands free and rifle can’t slip off your shoulder, simples

We now have a new high seat which is very high, seat bit is 5M up due to terrain.

Im trying to think of the safest way to get a rifle up there, in the dark, which making as little noise as possible, without dropping or me falling off.

Perhaps a rope is the best option? If so how would you attach the rifle?
The only correct answer that can be given with the above information is "carefully"...

An adequate SRA will identify the particular hazards (which will depend on any number of specific circumstances) and from that any required mitigations will be apparent.
