What quads can you get in an Ifor P6e?

I know a lot of the bigger quads won’t fit (and if I had my time again I’d definitely go bigger than the P6e 🤦‍♂️) but what have you got that does fit - ideally with the mesh sides still in place?

Letting the trailer dictate which quad to buy is Tail wagging the dog to a certain degree but don’t want yo have to fork out for a new trailer as well!

This is a reverse answer, but the new shape (2014 onwards) honda trx420 (and bigger) will not fit in the p6e. Before that I believe will.

Equally useful if I know what definitely won’t fit! It’ll be secondhand so helpful to rule stuff out as well as in and I won’t waste a seller’s time.

Im in exactly the same boat (or trailer) looking to upgrade the old trx but don’t want to change the trailer as it’s a good size for lots of other things.

What I did before picking up my quad was google the length and width, then google the trailer length and width. was spot on. However deerstalker.308 above says a 2011 will not fit, and googling it the dimensions would agree, trailer is 77.9inches length and quad is 80.9 inches, but wytonpjs has found it to fit.

And with a little space to spare! However, the 2014 uplift to the TRX420 did change it quite a bit - I’d like one but cannot afford one  and I doubt that will fit. That said, the only real thing I miss is PAS as mines already an IRS 2/4WD model. Have to cut cloth…………

I had a Yamaha 450 Grizzly that fitted comfortably into my P6e trailer. My quad was a 2007 model, but I think size-wise they are pretty much the same, although I can't say about the bigger engine models.

It fits quite snugly. I had a ramp on the back but not the mesh sides. I think with the mesh sides on, the only way off would be to clamber over the back. But that'll be the same with any quad that fits.

I'd forgotten about this thread until I stumbled across it earlier looking for something else. Long story short, no decent secondhand quads in reasonable distance or reasonable money so ordered a new Honda TRX420 in October. Still not here, mind you. Fella in the dealership assured me they definitely fit in an Ifor P6e. I double, double checked with him and he was adamant- even repeated it earlier today... I know it won't go with the mesh sides on as it's a fraction longer than the internal dimensions. When I say fraction longer... Turns out the new shape TRX420 is 160mm longer than internal dims of the trailer. Now doubting very much it’s going to fit. Never trust a Salesman!

A 2010 TRX420 will definitely fit, but not with mesh sides on. It was the distance from front to rear wheels and the size of the wheels that used to be more important.

If it’s just the plastics that are bigger you may still have a chance 🤞🏻😄

They've a new TRX520 in stock which, on paper, has the same dims - going to pop in over the next couple of days and try it for size. The missus will bloody kill me if we "need" a new trailer too. Cost of the quad was nearly grounds for divorce in the first place

You can always manufacture a wedge shape that goes in between the trailer and the drop-down. That way you’ll fit an 800cc on! 😉

I fit a TGB blade 520SL on one (without the mesh sides).

According to website they are 2155mm long and 1235mm wide. Length wise I have a little room, but width is a pretty tight fit.
