Couple of guys at our club have these Westlake conversions based on an Alpha .357 revolver. Production was halted due to some legal challenge, but there was a very recent court case which went the right way so I believe these are now back in production again. You can also get black powder pistols that are modified to use shotgun primers and nitro smokeless powder, these do not need to be LBP.
A and A gunsmith’s also do the conversion. Just another option for the OP to consider.Couple of guys at our club have these Westlake conversions based on an Alpha .357 revolver. They are a bit of a faff to load compared to a LB revolver but are effectively the real deal albeit at lowish velocities. IMO they look good and I am tempted myself. You won't get to pop off many rounds in an evening unless you have several cylinders and each one has to be on you FAC and they aren't exactly cheap to buy - good luck!
Unless I can hunt with one I'm not going there.
Stupid country.
Well you learn something new every day..thriving pistol club scene over here so you could always pop over to NI and try the real thing
Yessir - lots of big boys toys still here - I think the IoM and Channel Islands may also be unaffected!Well you learn something new every day..
I really enjoyed the Pistol "yy" events at Bisley.
I didn't realise it was only a GB ban and not UK wide.
