To avoid the hosepipe ban reinstate your 70ft-deep garden well that’s been capped with 24” of steel reinforced concrete since 1962:

1. Remove cap with Landrover winch and large hammer.
2. Expose well that thankfully wasn’t filled with builder’s rubble when first cottage extensions built.

3. Excavate around the top 3 remaining bricks to permit flooding with concrete prior to building the upper well surround with integral seat etc. in an non-twee thatched roof and winch for a bucket/pail manner!

More a case of the North Downs/Pilgrims Way “Well of Tranquility” has been returned to life but there’s no doubt the collision-proof backstop is an improvement over the SD membership’s propensity to rely on dense forestry.

Store ring pull baked bean cans upside down. Slop into a microwave bowl perfectly without the need for a spoon to dig out the stragglers.

Been putting this pig of a job off for more than a year as not helped by the many mods and extras I installed when vehicle was new.

All to replace those pesky wiper drive components that requires all but total dashboard disassembly.
