New Pulsar Telos XP50 LRF - that will tick all the boxes! Lrf Monocular.

Any news if it’ll be available with out the range finder ?
The rangefinder module sits very nicely in your hand, adding a bit of support and occupying what would otherwise be space in the hollow of your palm. I've always gone for non-LRF models before because the ergonomics of LRF bumps are usually not great and I have a regular LRF for that job, but this one is well thought out, so I'm tempted.

I had a look through/at the demo model at the stalking show. It was very nice to hold.
But I just don’t need the RF so maybe cut down on the bulk of it.
Plus saving a few quad always helps.

So with parts being exchangable on these Telos models, to improve internals as time and tech progresses and no need to buy a different unit later... with the non-LRF model, would it be possible later to add an LRF unit to it or are these perminant fixtures, part of the initial builds of each unit? (I.e. lrf and non-lrf at factory)

I had a look at these in March.

The zoom ring is really cool and intuitive.

I was however struck by the size and the weight. I wouldn't fancy having it hanging off my neck for any length of time, or indeed having to hold it up to scan with.

My advice would be to get to a shop and handle one to make sure it's for you.

Cheers
