Day off or a sicky

Far easier for me to shuffle work around for an early morning out, than it is for me to get an evening off from the wife and kids.

Weekday mornings aren't too much bother for me

Flexi day - one of the few perks left as a Civil Servant. I have hours in the bank after a recent long trip up North to survey a rather large grey vessel (compounded by the EasyJet flight being VERY late both ways). I was out yesterday evening with my youngest on a recent new patch (courtesy of the late Alantoo) where to date I have only seen one fallow pricket; last night there were 5 including the blackest melanistic (lower as well as upper) pricket I have ever seen and a lovely Menil master (still in velvet).

All excited about Tuesday now 🤗

Was a productive evening last night in other ways…….

I just go when the mood takes me. Very lucky to be living the life I do.
Sorting out some highseats today in readiness.
Should have said you where coming over. I would have come down . Just did two on ours with Steve on Wednesday.
More too go up this coming week.
These two are only one ladder high . I invested in some of Keith's highseats.

Yep, I've got one of Keith's to put up today. I don't think I'll bother with the shower curtain though 😂

😂. Shower curtains where free from where I used to work all getting thrown away . All the highseats wear one 😉😂. Only have black and blue left 😉

Got Tuesday - Saturday off work, pity about the weather forecast though 😢

Not worried about anything mature or semi mature, want to get stuck into the youngsters while they're still dopey & not cottoned on to being shot at!

More in hope than expectation I moved a couple of seats this morning so they're overlooking routes the fallow are taking between two woods & also put an IBC in a hedge on the other side of the farm where they seem to have been playing chase in the standing corn.

Oh, and the new chiller is supposed to be delivered tomorrow but won't be useable as the power company haven't completed the supply yet... they reckon it could be up to 8 weeks until they can fit the meter 🙄
