Pick up insurance

Just purchase a Mitsubishi l200. Tried to change over my insurance and they have said they don’t insure vans. Where’s the best place to look at for a decent price. I don’t need business insurance just sd&p👍

NFU Mutual, best price by far and no faffing about.

They do good rates on commercial use too.

I use NFU for everything, not the cheapest on motors in my experience* but the bloke comes round every year and has a brew with us like the olden days and, most importantly - they do not try and worm out of a claim when the proverbial hits the fan.

*I live in a dodgy postcode area, which I presume is the reason why.

Was with nfu for years as a business but still didn't use them for motor insurance as they were just extortionate, usually 3x the price of what I'd end up getting it for.
This year im with autonet, was with aviva before that.

LV insurance covers my Ford Ranger with no issues
We were the same until renewal time, then it went up, blaming rising costs on the war in Ukraine of all things, wasn’t planning on driving through a war zone but good to know how they justify the otherwise pointless increases!

Mine renewed last February it was a few £ cheaper then previous, will keep an eye on next renewal, I like them as the cover me for work purposes too without going full commercial insurance which is the problem I have had with other insurance companies in the past.

Interesting some are reccomending Admiral, they wanted £250 more from me after more than 5 years no claims with them!

I was an an NFU member for years and used them for business, motor and home insurance but they are now miles more expensive that many other comparable policies. Yes you get direct customer service but everything has its price
Pickup is with Churchill who cover it on a car policy where you get the benefit of the driving other cars endorsement

NFU  One of the most expensive there is.

I have been with A PLan for years, still paying less than £400 a year on my Isuzu 2017 plate. NFU wanted stupid money, and that was with 9 years max no claims.
