anyone with a cool game chiller , does the default temperature indicator read the chiller temp or the target temp ? Mine just reads the same 2 C with the door opened but second stand alone gauge the temp rises with the door open , the chiller instructions says the temp reading should be the inside chiller temp
thanks in advance monty

Yes it does almost instantly, not what you want to hear I know :(
Well yes it is , as been having problems so it shows a definite fault , unfortunately Cool Game are not interested in helping ( so much for a supposed 2 year warranty , they only want your money) even though had problems from new so having to sort it myself with the help of Landig in Germany

To be honest, I’d get a £15 Bluetooth temp recorder / tracker off Amazon and save myself the stress. Even thought morally it feels wrong!

I'm not familiar with the cool game chiller, so I don't know the settings, but is there perhaps a "set" or "save" button that you have to press after adjusting the target temp? If your target temp is 2°C I would expect the temp reading to go up and down between 1.5 and 3.5, rise periodically by another degree or so when it does a defrost cycle (maybe 4 hourly intervals?) and definitely rise when you open the door.
It may be that the display is simply displaying the number that you've adjusted it to, because you haven't completed the set up process.
(A bit like when you set an alarm time on your phone - you have to click "save" to actually activate it).

Is it a landig? Mine doesn't change when I open the door. My father's foster is always changing. You can watch the temp cut in and out on the compressor cycle. My landig you can't. So I assume it was how it works.
Switch on. Says the temp. Eg 15C. It will then start to drop. I think it normally flashes. Put internal fan on and it's a lot quicker. Once down to temp selected it just shows this. Open door it stays the same. Just the compressor kicks in when you close it until it's down to temp.
I'm 100% sure if you contact Landig they will help.
Also tell them that coolgame weren't interested. This will help and I'm sure they won't be happy. Customer service in that area of Germany is everything.

This. I ordered mine direct from Germany and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Mr Coolgame was not amused as I’d saved a good few hundred pounds. Apparently he contacted Landig and told them not to sell direct again. Coolgame are definitely responsible for any warranty issues I remember him telling me this.

Yes Coolgame are responsible for the warranty, saying is one thing getting Andrew at Coolgame to do something about it is another, other than taking Coolgame to small claims court can’t see what else i can do
Landig in Germany are very helpful but want me to pay for parts

Which model have you got out of interest and when did you buy it?

I’ve got the LU 10000 Purchased in Nov 2020
Sorry, I was asking the OP. I have the same as you but wonder if he has an older or different model. The controls/display etc might be different for different models etc.

I’ve had a Landig game fridge on my wish list for a while and had hoped to purchase one this year however, I’ve just discovered CoolGameUK has now closed due to retirement. I believe they are the only importers? Any other companies that sell similar?

Where did you get that information?
Andy emailed last week stating new orders being taken in the new year.
