How did the Hornady shoot? If it shot well, I’d stick with that. If not, try whatever else you can get to find a brand that your rifle likes.

If your talking factory ammo , i am pretty clueless . However all your CZ needs is shorter bullets and from my findings nothing out that i know of in none toxic as its a 1-16 twist
Seirra 40 and 45 grain Hornet are very available, 35 v max are but have a very poor BC and seriously struggle at 200yds Arriving in a longer time that a 45 grain std soft point . Unlike the Ruger etc its a std hornet size action so they wont handle much other than 40 grain shorter bullets ( 40 v max is too long ) unless you push it too far into the case , which gains nothing

The hordanny shot ok but the bullet case kept swelling after shooting stopping the bolt from opening

How do you know that was the cause if you haven’t tried another brand ?🤔

As Dr. Strangelove has suggested, try another brand or as Kenbro has suggested reload , at least then you'll be in complete control of your ammo quality .

In mine I’ve tried:
Winchester
PPU
Remington
Hornady

None of which produced groups better than 1.5” @ 100yds (some were 2.5”+).

Fine for fox at 100 but limiting on head shooting rabbits.

Home loading is definitely the way to go with the Hornet.
