Sako6.5x55

I’ve got 2 Sako 85’s stainless synthetic, the older one which doesn’t have the rubberised soft touch is well used and fine, the newer soft touch stock was removed and replaced with a custom stock and the synthetic put on the shelf unused, 5 years later I took it off the shelf to reuse is and it had gone sticky. I’ve scraped it off and sprayed it with Pro-tex bumper paint, it’s now like new but without the soft touch. Not sure if anyone has had the same problem as myself, but very disappointing when you buy a good brand and they don’t stick by their customers.
I have now sold two of my sako rifles before they get in the same mess as my last sako which I have had to scrub the melting sticky rubber off, to be able to use it.
It will have lost all value now.
So any one on here with sako synthetic stocks keep an eye on them.
