Anyone tried the above in .243?
Wondering about using it on fallow and roe, sub 300m
Thanks all

I’ve tried ELD-X in 150gr 7-08 and 103gr 243 (1:8)
Pretty much the only bullets not accurate in those rifles despite trying different powders, ladder for COL etc
I’m interested in the 90gr for my new 243 though.

Funny things. rifles. My 8 twist 243 loved those 103 ELDX, as fast as I can push them

I’ve loaded them in 2 Tikkas with 1:10 twist rates using both IMR4350 and RL23. Not used them on Roe or Fallow but they have been accurate (<1 MOA) and this weekend they accounted for 4 Blesbuck, a Gemsbuck and a Blue Wildebeest. All around 250m and all one-shot kills with no animal travelling more than 80m after impact.

i have used the 90gr eld -m <not eld-x> in my 243 .very successfully, do cause a bit of damage if bone is hit on the way in but no where near as bad as the 85gr game king!

I can’t find any note of these bullets. Can you send me a link if possible?
Thanks!

ACM, my bad they are the 90gr eld-x ,i also use the eld-m but in 6.5x55. so yes a good bullet but meat damage can be an issue <dont drive them too fast and they are fine >
