@ATNUK any thoughts??So, which choice?
I think I will end up with a decision to make.
Hopefully they will find a fault and offer a replacement.
Or a refund??
Or they will say that they cannot find any faults and offer to return, to which I will say no thanks and then I will be offered a part payment and out of pocket, FFS.
Faced with that last option, what would you do?
And while you're here, what is the best nv sight?
And I mean reliability!
I'd try anything if it was built proper like....
Thanks.
I have often wondered but considering I used it two or three nights a week before and after the fall I'm not so sure its related.I think the Zulus is hard to beat and you've been unlucky with your particular one, or possibly the fault is related to the fall you had when it fell into the mud![]()
I have one. At night they take some beating. But they are night vision only . Not really useable in the day. They're a big unit too. Also the inbuilt IR eats through the battery in no time at all so you really need an external IR. But , if all you want is a no frills nv unit they take some beating.Those n470 look solid jobs, Ben speaks highly of them, have you any experience with them @mealiejimmy , anyone?
Only thing to bear in mind is it'll be twice the weight of Zulus. But for quality of NV it takes some beating.Those n470 look solid jobs, Ben speaks highly of them, have you any experience with them @mealiejimmy , anyone?
Just a phenomenal piece of kit! Paired with a wraith torch, wow!!!! No more fiddling about pressing buttons, useable full mag on scope, just focus on the scope & pull the trigger! I was blind, now I can see.Vulpine Mk3. Ok it’s a rear add on but doesn’t affect head position at all. Very basic and on the right scope the image is phenomenal. Well worth a look. I use mine 4/5 nights a week and for various reasons need it to work. Gave up on digital NV 18 months ago after buying the unit.
