Yes my friend, we have thought about that and are going to meet up at 8 o'clock instead of the 10 o'clock originally suggested!

That takes me back, I grew up in Colwyn Bay and my mum used to take us to the Craig-y-Don paddling pool.
A few years later and my best mate’s parents had the lease on the little ice cream kiosk in the corner of the field opposite, the pair of us spent a couple of summers working in it in our teens, I see it’s not there now.
Happy days. 😁

A few from anglsey last week . Mainly for bait . But the bigger ones for my belly. Caught on feathers of the rocks between moelfre and lligwy . R ball bags as company .watching for fish lol

1 Mackrell.is better than nowt Pete . And good company ( with Pendle) there's nowt better

It does seem to have been pretty dead at Llandudno recently, (Certainly in the four most recent visits I have had) so much so that I am looking at other venues on Anglesey - When I have the time and the tides and weather fit into place! I fancy trying near the Menai Bridge to try for a bass or two on low water with light spinning gear.

I don't think it is a very good mark I just fish it for ease of parking & facilities I enjoy it on a nice day or if you want a change of scenery & to listen to the waves breaking is relaxing & just chuck the rods out & see what happens

I've had mackeral , flounders & a lot of pin tail Whiting stripping the hooks as soon as it hits the bottom in the past from it

I'm sure that there are plenty of fish around The North Shore - It's just that they don't want me to catch them. The only one that I had there this year that was worth mentioning was a 5lb bass caught on a 30g Silver Minnow right between the Paddling Pool and the Lifeboat Station.
