For RWS subsonics, I'd use these numbers:Hi guys I have just bought a Zulus with range finder and balistic data. I want it to shoot rabbits on an Anschutz ,.22 RF rifle due to noise restrictions. using .22 RWS subsonics, There is no muzzel velocity data on the box what data should I use?
bullet data 40gr but what length?
has anybody set one up for a .22 RF that could help me with all the required data would be very much appreciated as it is a bit of a pain with all these multi function buttons and very poor instructions. kind regards
“I aimed and got the fox only to have the screen turn orange!”Highly agitated tonight!!
#37 came in just glorious. A squeal and I had it 60 yards away in no time. I aimed and the display went hazy!! I rushed the shot distracted and missed!
On firing I had a green screen!
I reloaded and rebooted the Zulus expecting the fox to of disappeared but to my surprise it was coming closer!
I aimed and got the fox only to have the screen turn orange!
I reloaded and shut it down, replaced the cell incase it was that, rebooted and fired the round off only to be greeted by another orange screen.
So that's that its being returned tomorrow.
****ed off does not describe it!
Good isn't it. Bloody frustrating.“I aimed and got the fox only to have the screen turn orange!”
So guess what happened on my 5th zero check shot today? Then it turned itself off! Quick switch on again and next 15 shots no problem….

Aye. Stretched the cap spring as Bruce has recommended and now working up the courage to separate the magnets I ordered….Good isn't it. Bloody frustrating.
I'm thinking it's not well insulated down in the bottom of the battery tube![]()

Aye- well tightened down thank you PP.Have you made sure you have really cinched down the battery cap as far as it will go?
I had one of mine on a .243 switch itself off on the shot but on checking there was another half turn on the cap if i really gave it some. It’s not happened since after many shots.
I reckon those having this problem is possibly down to the short thread on the cap and not the best thread match resulting in it wobbling slightly under recoil and loosing connection for a fraction of a second.
Good tip - thank you A.@Foxyboy43 had very similar with an ir torch switching itself off on my .243. Turned out the screw threads for the battery had a little grease on them, once cleaned with alcohol, its never done it since
