I know of no such data leak of passwords that affects everyone. That said, if someone has got your password then change it, obviously.

There might be a few members who have passwords that are too old, based on phpBB or vBulletin, shared with other websites, may have even been discovered on other sites etc. and you may get a message like this reminding you: Yes, it is a genuine message that it's time to change your password...

Notified through Apple that there had been a password leak from this site
I have received no such thing from Apple, ever... +1 for it sounding like a phishing scam.
Well that’s something new - although you have to read through the whole thing to discover that it’s not perhaps as bad as may be assumed … Apple Support - Passwords

Apple does that kind of notification and it’s not phishing.
Settings > Passwords > Security Recommendations
Most of ours data and passwords are leaked through Guntrader hence if you use same mail and password to login this site you are under threat. That also applies other sites as well.

A password alone is essentially worthless, a password, especially a reused password along with an email address, on the other hand.

Whack your email into there, it will list all the data breaches where your email and possibly your passwords and other data may have been leaked.
