Advice for avoiding hornets

Hi, I’m after advice regarding the best head torch colour to avoid attracting hornets whilst gralloching. There seem to be a lot of hornets around my neck of the woods this year and whilst I know they are not aggressive I’d rather not have them flying around my head. I’m currently using white light which is the worst from what I’ve read, but do have a few other colour options (red, blue and green if I remember correctly) on my head torch I could try - any suggestions please for the best one, also any other tricks that work?
Cheers

Red is a great colour for doing this, during a past life I've worked in pest control and when dealing with situations in lofts with wasps and hornets a red torch filter seemed to do the job. However as they are attracted to the protein supply they may still be an issue. Or buy a bee keepers suit.

I've a head torch that does white and RGB. Red certainly seems to help a bit but I wouldn't say a great deal. I've done dog walks with red led only on, and still get buzzed by the f**kers.

I'd rather mount a torch light in a tree or something, and have it pointed at the gralloch site. They'll go to the source
