One Man and his Hoist.

Owner has just had his pheasants delivered and this lump has knocked over feeders also been in the wheat with his mate so he had to go, only transient also you can't eat the head.
Parked up and walked to a bomb hole which gave me a good left/right chance, big heat source in the wood near Num 3 pen so I just waited!
10mins later out he came, 80yd neck shot few twitches all over...now the real work!
My £20.00 hoist (home made) makes light work of this lump.

That's a lump of a deer mate.

Bet your glad the hoist is there. That would have the back twitching.

I can't top that, but last evening whilst on the shoot I came across four fallow bucks on the edge of the cover crop, only 60 yards away. They looked enormous. It was, however, raging hot (still 28 degrees), and a hot day predicted for the following day. My usual shed was far too hot, and unlikely to cool down much. I was on my own, and no £20 hoist. Discretion prevailed. Hope I see them again on a cooler day !

Well done mate

Just goes to show what ingenuity a good pair of hands cheap materials and a bit of work can do.

Great setup Tim and a cracking fallow right there well done sir 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻👍🏻

Cheers Damián, just hung the head in a tree so will give it a couple of months to come back to a dried husk lol
