Unless you’re adding champagne, absinthe, bloody gin or whatever to make it a cocktail then your in the wrong threadGood pint of Guinness, from a local pub. About 4 or 5 are just nice.
Whilst on my one and only visit to Ireland, I was enjoying truly excellent Guinness. Chatting to the barman after a few pints, he asked if I'd tried "Best of Both", no said I but I'll give it a go. It was Smethwicks Red Ale in the bottom half of the pint and Guinness in the top.Unless you’re adding champagne, absinthe, bloody gin or whatever to make it a cocktail then your in the wrong thread![]()

Good splash of NV port in a Guinness , not sure it counts as a cocktail but bloody good for breakfast on a rugby international day.Unless you’re adding champagne, absinthe, bloody gin or whatever to make it a cocktail then your in the wrong thread![]()

I really liked a Pina Colada. My late wife and i enjoyed Cyprus and stayed near Paphos. There was a lovely Cocktail Bar that had a great atmosphere. Spent some lovely, warm evenings sampling their offerings. I have to say that Pina Colada was my favourite. Basically white rum, coconut cream and pineapple juice, plenty crushed ice. We did sample most of their offerings, and after all, it would have been rude not too. But Pina Colada was always my go to.
There, i have said it. I await the onslaught of laughter and finger pointing.
