Hi all, I see this company has a closing down sale, seen a couple things I was interested in but I’ve messaged and no contact at all from them, is this normal, are they on holiday or just too busy to reply? Anyone know if they’re worth dealing with

They are just too busy to reply. I was on hold for half an hour. Also don’t expect even half what is on the website to be in stock. And even then, items that are in stock might not be in the sale as I found out.

That taking payment for stuff they don’t have in stock winds me up

Got a rifle on order from them since beginning of June £200 deposit on it
Spoke last Wednesday said everything is ok rifle be here early December

I was in there Saturday it was rammed, five staff on at 14:45 still took me 25 mins to get seen and the carpark was full, had to ditch it on double yellows and deploy the "park anywhere lights" - formally known as hazard lights

Does me to. However, in this case it does say ALL over their website that there online stock is not live and to call before placing any online orders.

What I'm more surprised about is they employ 4\5 staff and they didn't feel the need to sell the business its clearly cutting a profit? Just a shame/ waste to see another gun shop closing up.

As has been mentioned above, you’ll find that the majority of items listed as 20% off are not in stock & never were.

Highly reputable.. yes 100% worth dealing with.. As has been said, they’re most likely too busy, with everyone seeking a deal.. I’ve bought many bullets from them over the years amounting to thousands… I created a basket, e-mailed it to them and got a reply next morning..

Just check the e-mail address you used.. I pressume you clicked on the web-site contact us?

It’s a real shame they are retiring, I’ve used them a lot over the years and their prices and service have been generally very good. As they say on their website it does not have real time stock updates so phone to check on availability before you place your order.

Shame, had some good deals from them in the past, agree with website comments, but a phone call to very helpful staff usually sorts it out

Managed to get them on the phone after half hour, seem really busy, lady dealing with the online orders says she’s a week behind.

I've ordered a couple of bits online, didn't call ahead as I anticipated them being busy and I don't have time. If they've got even one of the items it'll be worth the 20% saving, if they've got none it'll be a shame

I was in today busy but not mad a lot has already been sold but orders for guns and other stuff are still being taken i was served by Tim himself final closing will be in January but the breaking news is it will be going on the market as a going concern very shortly

I’ve tried to reach them through phone to check stock but no luck hence I dropped an email and a few hours later got a response! They say they don’t accept credit cards or Paypal, but only bank transfer for mail orders. I really want to purchase the product but not sure I can take the risk of transfering the amount to a company which is closing.

They accepted a card via the online payment systemast week... And since promised me a full refund as none of what I ordered was in stock
