Out last night.

Reloading Solutions are showing 35 and 40 grn Bergers in stock. £55 box!
I thought most factory. 204s are 1:12.

Ha, I never had a factory one, so both mine, 204R and VT were both 11 twist.
Few years back now.
I would agree, 35 Berger a great bullet for 20 cal.

#18 for me.
Another from the turnip field at the bottom of the garden, a vixen this time, it's a good job I take the thermal when I let the dogs out for a pee last thing, a mad scrabble to get them back indoors and get the cabinet open, lucky it was munching on something, a squeek and it lifted it's head up and bingo. I think I'll dig a few bit of bait in along the turnip and grass headland. That's a nice 95-yard shot from the bottom of the garden.

What's dry ground? Like a swamp over here! However if we have a week of frost it may get better.
Well done with the two.

Been and checked zero today. Then tried a long shot.

Just didn't give enough wind and just missed the rock.

Then I took an even longer shot at a crow and yep I did the same, not enough windage 🤦
I swear I can see the bullet in the video, what do you think?

Yeah strike just to the right mate.
That crow looked a long way out Smelly and defo wind took it right.
I was at the range today and at 200 the triple deuce and 50gns Vmax were a full 3 inches right - mind you that was in 15- 20 knots of wind from 90 degrees left to right. Oddly enough the 8 mm Mauser with 198 gns torpedoes didn’t seem to be as bothered…..

#14 last night

Out stalking in the afternoon getting into a group of 5 laid up in a rape field , taking 2 old does.

Then it was back to the motor for a cuppa and pork pie waiting for the light to go before heading out in search of 🦊

Got set up and after calling for precisely 37 mins using a variety of calls had this vixen come in to 70 yds using Juvenile red fox distress.

Our regular Song Thrush has been belting out his notes for around two weeks now, starts off in the pitch black when we are about halfway around the morning dog walk, & fades off around 10:30.
A reminder spring is about to burst upon us.:)

I think they actually sing all (most) of the year Finn
