FAC Renewal Online What do I need?

I am getting a bit worked up over my pending FAC/SG renewal. (Met Police area)

I am going to attempt it online tomorrow (5 1/2 months to run). I'd like to do it in one hit and not have to abandon half way through.

This is what I've got saved on the PC ready to go:- what have I missed ???

Details of all makes and models etc
Digital passport pic, right size I hope!
Land owner authority
NRA membership details and logs of all range visits in last 12 months
All CAD logs over last 12 months
Medical notes and doctor letter arranged by ShootCert (every efficient by the way)
Details of referees

Thanks guys,

Not sure if they are all the same form but I'm Met as well

Dates of any offences inc speeding

Make, Model fixing type of cabinet

I needed to go back to my Referee for town of birth but that might have been for a different thing I'm not sure

You should be able to download a paper form. Cross reference with that.
Check your not putting in for renewal to early (I believe most forces say 3 months prior to expiry)
Medical cert has to be under 6 months old.

Good advice so far
No convictions
Not sure what make the cabinets are
Planning on doing it once with no breaks
Met are fine with 6 months on both

Thanks

Met may be different but with Bedfordshire all the documents you are going to upload have to be less than 1 mg given most phone and iPad cameras take at 10 mg+ you need to convert them before trying to upload

When I did mine last year, not MET though, I couldn’t recall the makes of cabinet as I’ve had them so long. What I did was add a note to explain that these were the same cabinets, to British Standard, that had been installed & approved for my last X renewals. This was accepted.

Ok all done, actually not too bad, took about 90 minutes.

Takes ages to list each firearm and check you've got the number correct. Not sure why the whole thing can't be prepopulated?

Hick up was finding the email address for the Health centre.

But on the whole nothing to worry about.

Thanks for the advice guys.

I am sure I have said it before, but I genuinely can not fault the Met in any way. In my experience they always go out of their way to be supportive and helpful when it comes to licensing, their comms are excellent and above all else they are quick in turning enquiries, variations and renewals around.

Getting you to provide the information again at renewal seems like a good way to do an error check to be honest.
