Yes, plenty to worry about.
Do you know anywhere in North Wales that I could hire or borrow a towing vehicle at short notice? Got to take a twin deck livestock trailer over to Suffolk on the weekend, sort out a load of sheep, run some into Colchester market on Tuesday morning and also bring a load home to Wales.
And the turbo had just failed on my pickup.
So I've got a bit of frustration to work off.

have you considered replacing the turbo , it's not a massive job time wise normally and there is plenty of aftermarket companies who can ship one out fast - it may be a quicker option for you?

check the downstream side for oil though because depending on the failure it may have filled the intercooler and pipework with oil

Yes.
New turbo may arrive today. Or it may not.
I don't have much of a time window.
Got to have a plan B (ie, an alternative vehicle) up my sleeve.
Looked into hiring a transit fairly locally, but none available with tow bar.
