Keep away from ponies and horses.Takes more space than an ATV and you need to fuel it when not in use......
Just had a look at these. The torque is rated at 250nm. Hard to believe, it's more than alot of small cars.Just been looking at a Surron electric motor bike. Pretty incredible performance (circa 70KM out of a 2.5 hour charge apparently), they only weigh about 50Kg so you can chuck it in the back of the car. I doubt it would be much good towing stuff but if you were out after roe, you could cover a huge amount of ground quietly and extract with a sack.
Ahh. A man after my own heart…… I come from the days when a ‘full stop’ got you 5 points !I've been using off-road bikes for years.....trials bikes mostly.....sherco, gas gas, montesa.....then I got the rs 125 when I was barley 17...... good times

Half the weight, a third the price, similar range to Sur Ron but half as quiet on the track, better visibility, nearly silent. And fun.
Realtree jacket may be extra though!![]()
You mean something like this?
The ones I have been looking at are a straight electric motorbike
So many opportunities. Obviously you would have to extract deer in a basket on your head to avoid overbalancingIt was more to highlight your "you could cover a huge amount of ground quietly".
Written on the back of the picture " my favorite picture of you. Dad" 1967.It’s a fact that I’m more comfortable on a trials bike on rough ground than I am in a quad. Once off camber and it starts to tilt, my memory recalls all the farmers and others that have died in similar circumstances..
However, my stalking mate has a 1000cc petrol Polaris and that’s a different beast altogether. Off camber I feel protected by the cab, and it is the nearest thing to a trials bike on rough ground that I’ve been in (wheeled - not tracked).
Only issue is price !

The OP specifically wanted a bike due to the reduced size and weight of one for storage and transport compared to a quad. All three of those go completely against that, not to mention the speed aspect. Granted they won't be travelling fast while towing a trailer or dragging a deer but between leaving the car and getting to the deer they'll likely want to travel faster than a slow crawl.Any of these would be better than a bike

Fair call on the size, but a quoted top speed of 6.4 km/H is faster than most blokes will cover over rough ground. The OP specifically wanted a bike due to the reduced size and weight of one for storage and transport compared to a quad. Yes, Those bikes won a lot of ESSA titles with different riders.Grass tracker ?
And me viz a 350 Bultaco Sherpa, anyone remember world champion (trials) Bernie Shreiber, rode against him in the Dunlop Trophy back in the 70’s... unbelievable that this knackered body did that ****.Ahh. A man after my own heart…… I come from the days when a ‘full stop’ got you 5 points !
