Suitable motorbike for pulling deer

No reason why not. It can transport its own spare batteries at the same time as dragging a blood tray full of carcasses. Hell, you could even sit on it if you’re too tired to walk 😆

I’ve been making them for 15 years , this is the latest 1 ton with lithium batteries, you can have a winch or crane or tipper , pretty much anything !

The 2000kg version is more popular in construction

Changing the batteries in the field is a real fag and the cost becomes excessive when you make the battery on a cassette system

They always look like that, when they are on the OTHER side of that thing in the foreground, namely, the fence around your permission, that you are standing on when taking the photo. Or, the deer are all hinds, and have got wind of someone who said they are out of season.

On that topic, I just received a new map from the landmanager today, showing that a field that was tempting my self control all year, is and always was, actually part of my permission:banghead:. Seems the boundary was drawn in the wrong place last time round, so I just had to watch and photograph the best deer go past. Just about to off to scout it, before the deer get the memo and start to behave differently.

Don't you worry the deer will have had a copy of that new map days ago.

The OP needs a trial bike (for the low gearing), a jet sled with trailer and a subscription to a&e.

I doubt very much you would get consistent traction with this for a number of reasons also a pulling point would need to be some type of bridle from the frame! On the flat a bit of a chance but any wet ground gully steep up hill it would be a disaster.
Lots of other things like falling off "ankles wrists deer goes sideways down hill"

If any bike it would be a Honda Monkey Bike but I am "out"

Good luck
Monkey Bikes... hey roll back the years .... Mini Mokes too 😂

Ages ago, in the italian mountain artillery we towed guns with environmental friendly prime movers.
No hydrocarbons needed, just water, hay and oats, limited (well, not so limited) obnoxious emissions, what do you want more?
The Scots, famous for their inventive, developed ages ago an ingenious alternative, with the merit of a more docile prime mover.

Ah, can horses walk/run backwards?
Someone had to say it.
All the best from Bavaria.
Great idea below this is about using dogs. So first shoot it then the dog tracks/finds the beast then schlepps it out for you, deffo a mans best friend.
The “General Rule” is, any breed dog in good health can exert a static pull of up to 3 times its body weight for an extended period.
When the load is on wheels, skids or a flat sled…??? The dogs can move enormous weight.
I routinely train Mobility Assistance Service Dogs to pull their Handler in wheelchairs up “ADA Standard Inclines” of 1:12… One 60 pound Husky was more than able to pull his Handler and chair, a combined weight of 400 pounds, up a standard ramp and make a game of it…
The current world’s record is 5,400 pounds, pulled over a competition course of 16 feet in under 60 seconds, by “Delbert” a 150-pound two-year-old, Alaskan Malamute….

This thread did spring to mind this morning as I made my way gingerly down a steep, but off camber slope on the quad with a couple of deer pushing me on. Not a hope in hell I would have done that on a motorbike.

Looks useful, but comes down to economics.
1. How much is it?
2. Does it have anything in it made by, or inspired by, Landrover? (i.e. how much of the purchase price should the buyer have to set aside for garage bills?)
3. There are quite a few remote controlled tracked vehicles from China, but their price is more than a quad, e.g the All Terrain High Speed Rubber Tracked Crawler Tank Chassis Undercarriage Unmanned Vehicle Robot Chassis Platform - Buy Undercarriage Track Rubber Crawler tank Tracked Vehicle tracked Robot Chassis rc Tracked Vehicle Big 1 Tonne Electric Rubber Track remote Control Car With Camera electric Motor Caterpillar tank Chassis remote Track Vehicle construction Layout Roboti Rc Cargo Track Vehicle Rescue Material Handling Chassis Robot caterpillar Transporter Large Robot Drive Chassis Product on Alibaba.com What is the advantage over a quad? Or a pony? A highland pony has style, costs peanuts to buy so long as you are not getting one to compete with or ride about on, and £1,000 a year to maintain.

Traction and carrying capacity plus you are not on it !

I designed these for working in construction to complement my cranes but if there was a market I could look into a cheaper lightweight deer model?

As someone who spends alot of time on steep hill I'd rather a quad over a motorbike for carrying anything these a reason us shepherds use quad not motorbikes! I can comfortably carry a ewe on the back of the quad with me and the dog I doubt I'd do the same with a motorbike! If you buy a fairly modern Yamaha, can am, Polaris or even CF Moto alot come with winch's as standard meaning you can pull something from a spot you aren't comfy to drive.

Was thinking a 2 wheeler mite help extract from fields surrounded by oil seed R as it would go down tram lines
I have to make sure I got help to extract before I even go ATM not so much the drag it's the time it takes when solo
