I've bought a tikka t3 and I'm struggling to find optilocks in stock. 30mm high blued.

What other rings work for a t3 my local shop didnt have anything in stock that would work. Don't think I want to go down the rail route.

Cheers Sean.

Tier One make there own dedicated tikka rings. very good high quality rings and made in the UK. although they are matt black in finish, rather then blued.

I appreciate you said you dont want to go down the rail route but I have picattiny rails on both rifles and use Tier 1 monomounts and they are superb. Apologies for going off topic :)

On my newest T3x in 308 , I mounted an Innomount multirail.
This rail is useable with any picatinny system as well as the Blaser Saddle mount.
I use both and extremely reliable.

Whats the lead time on these do you know? Are they coming from.thr states?
You can get them here in the UK, but it can take some looking. If you want a high for 56mm scope I think the model number is 32550 - but let me check. Standby…….

It's 50mm objective but the 'high' burris mounts I've tried still touch the barrel by a bugs 🍆

Hmmm….I would go with a Medium DNZ mount for 50mm scope, but given it’s touching and you might want to use scope caps like a Butler Creek I’d revert to a high.

A quick Google search shows most places in the UK being out of stock. So, I’d try DNZ direct in the US.

I’ve had mine on my T3 since 2013 - never moved a millimetre. Well worth the aggro of tracking one down. I’d also put a ‘wanted’ post on here in the classifieds. You’d be amazed at what SD members have in their spare parts box / drawer.

I have a set for sale, took both a 42mm and a 50mm, but it depends on your barrel profile of course, and how far from your eye the scope is mounted where the objective bell housing sits in relation to barrel
