Morning all, anyone had a variation with Devon and Cornwall lately? What's the average waiting time?
Hi Mike, if its like my last renewal you will get a extension temporary certificate. This will then get very close to running out, then your inspection will happen and you remind them of this temporary one being close to end date, they will then let it run out so you have nothing at all. You contact them, they ignore you and then they will send you your certificate about 3 weeks later.Picking up on this thread please gents - I put my renewal in today with 3 1/2 weeks before expiry (because my GP took forever). I realise it was supposed to be 8 weeks prior but we are where we are. Does anyone know whether it's likely Devon and Cornwall dept. will process this in time, and what might happen if they don't? I'm hoping I can just store the contents of my cabinet at my local RFD until it comes through?
Thanks in advance,
Mike
