I did get a decent group but at 3100 fps with 35.5 gr if RS52

Yeah, sort of defeats the object of the calibre, I'd try a different bullet first
Agreed, .223 would save a lot of money for similar speeds.
That's slooooooooow. Stoke it up some more.
Try viht 140, rl15, cfe223 - this will give the highest fps, or ramshot tac or hunter all will get the job revved up a bit.
I've tried a few different powders but went back to N140. CFE223, yes, I got plenty of speed, but the accuracy was lower in the charge weight, so no better really. H4895, the best! But no longer available, so N140 it is. It's been said above and many other times, around 36g of N140 and a 50,52 or 55 grain bullet will be pretty awesome in a 22/250, giving excellent accuracy and around the 3600fps mark. That's my experience, although I have a 23" barrel. Get some N140 and stick with it, you'll not be disappointed.

If it's accurate you, should be looking to achieve around 3600fps in a 20" barrel.
my experience is that a 22-250 is an inherently accurate chambering. 55gr max are reliable performers from 1-14 twist and tighter.

Is it not just slow as its a new barrel and it'll speed up after a 100 or so rounds?

Also use cfe223 in my 26 inch barrel with 53gr vmax a tad over 3900fps
Ram shot big game great in the 22-250 burned very clean aswell
