Why on earth did they do that!
They said it was a modification even though it was a genuine land rover chassis
Oneclick for 20 plate Dmax pickup £480 due for renewal next month, Mercedes sprinter tipper 24 plate just renewed from £1350 through van compare to £730 from Swiftcover.
The wife's golf has been with sheilas wheels for years and they seem to either give you a minimal increase or even a reduction in premiums hence why we have stayed with them for the golf.

I’d check the excess with Sheila/swift cover..they generally have a hefty excess amount although the premium seems to be comparable!
I always do £300 voluntary excess to bring the premium down, I have about a million years no claims scattered across a few policies which tells me not to worry about the excess.

Im about to Barth at insurance quotes right now!!!!! Checking out quotes for Ranger limited due next month on 14th, I live in a quiet low crime area have 7 years since passed test 7 NCB last year was 648, this year quotes so far are £1300 im 24 not a clue what to do, I refuse to pay tat for insurance, I was less than that on a 2 year old mini wen I first passed my test that was well nippy and fast. Insurance for everyone is becoming a joke!!

It really is nuts trying to insure anything, I am hoping my current provider can meet me at least at last years price id be happy. I honestly think the industry needs looked at by gov or something companies are taking the ****. You need it to drive its essential, I aint got 1300 to sink on insurance every year and I need my truck! and if it goes up next year as it likely will then god knows. To double the price for literally nothing compared to last year is just outrageous

Wouldn't think so lol!! sod the gov though can go do one for all I care. Insurers need to quit this double price hike pish though
